Granox's principal development and production interest is located in virgin Russian oil fields in Europe. Granox Explorations focuses in areas where thorough geological, geophysical and engineering practices have shown applicability for advanced techniques. Granox has focused its 3-D efforts in the Russian oil basins, and maintains a large database of 3-D seismic, covering over 3500 square miles of the basin. In addition to the 3-D coverage, Granox utilizes its large database of 2-D seismic lines to fill in and evaluate new play concepts.
Granox has an aggressive exploration philosophy, which has helped grow the company to its current size. Granox was founded on the application of advanced technologies, utilizing a multi-discipline approach. Focus is always set on leading edge technologies, and the use of 3-D geophysical applications has been significant to company development.
